Background History
Hello Fellow Otakus ツ
Let me tell you a little bit about myself ...
I'm originally from Peru . I remember growing up thinking I could be the biggest drummer in the world but it seems as we grow up, our goals in life tend to change and now I ended doing something different on my life...
That being said, I will answer a few questions concerning my anime taste:
What's the first mainstream anime you ever watched?
Saint Seiya was my first anime I've watched and I must say it was fucking awesome. One of the few shounen animes with good fighting scenes back then. Right after that, I saw the Dragon Ball Saga, Sakura Card Captors and so on .. purely mainstream animes ≥︺‿︺≤
What's the first non-mainstream anime you ever watched ?
To Love-Ru. It is considered an ecchi/harem anime and Man! I loved it. The fan-service moments were hilarious. I read the manga because the art-style is good and I wanted to know the ending too. You gotta love the PLOT.
What's your favorite manga?
The Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles , Hands Down. Considered by many a shojo manga but the reality of it is actually a shounen work, at least from a publisher perspective . If you are into adventurish animes, timeline-related events, paradox , twists and loops this is the one to look at. The crossover with XXXHolic was elaborated nicely as well. I have many things to say about this amazing story but I'd rather explain that eventually in a full review.
What's your favorite anime of all time?
The Tsubasa Chronicles "Tokyo Revelations". I've seen many, many anime and I must say the Tsubasa Chronicles has one of best stories EVER done. Just when I thought Code Geass was really good, CLAMP came up with this outstanding work. If you have read the manga, you should know the Tokyo arc plays a critical point in the whole story and from that moment everything changes and turns dark. I'm glad the producers animated one of the best arcs despite the shortness of it.
My advice: Read the manga since its fully detailed, try to avoid the anime at first and enjoy.
Who's your favorite anime character?
Male Character: Watanuki Kimihiro from XXXholic/Tsubasa Chronicles. He is one of the most profound characters in TC/XXXholic .The character development is really deep which sometimes I find it familiar , the transition from one personality to another is great.... not to mention the mystery he holds even until the end and that's why I like him. As for the seiyuu, Fukuyama Jun played the role, do I need to say more? =]
Female Character: Gokou Ruri from Oreimo. She is the perfect girl (literally). She's mature in her own way and she loves anime and that's a +.The way she describes things and argue about them amazes me. She's the cutest on the series and fuck what everyone else says xD. As for the seiyuu, Kana Hanazawa cuz', with the beautiful accent and pronunciation emerged nicely with the character.. If you don't know who she is by now , go kill yourself ^_^

"Our relationship has already been formed. No matter how trivial a meeting and the incidents that follow may seem, a relationship is made. Even if it is just for a short amount of time, a knot that has been tied does not unravel. It means that during your lifetime, every incident that passes has meaning. The meeting between you and I has meaning so remember it. Because in this world..
There is no such thing as coincidence, there's only the inevitable." Yuuko (xxxHolic) |
